July 13, 2011 Snack/Daily Learning Log Schedule

Thanks everyone for a great first day! We will work out the kinks of everyone's blogs on Tuesday. We will also make sure that everyone signs up for a schedule for the Daily Learning Log to be posted on the blog and also shared with the class. Everyone needs to do the learning log once and you may partner up if there is not enough slots.

1. Bring 5 things/meaningful artifacts that represent them for Wednesday.

2. Read Chapter 1 in The Art of Classroom Inquiry: A Guide for Teacher-Researchers.

3. Bring in a rough draft of critical incident in paper form.

Homework: Please read Chapter 5 in The Art of Classroom Inquiry: A Guide for Teacher-Researchers.
On your blog please respond to chapter 5 by writing three statements of what stuck out to you as important and one question (similar to how we respond in elbow groups).
For Thursday please bring your draft of your critical teaching narrative with the revisions. It will be edited during Thursday afternoon. Also be ready to post your research question Thursday night.
